In this web site, you will discover all about Reiki and energy healing, what it is and
what it is NOT. Over the years I've heard many things that flat out, crack me up when
people talk about "energy healing" and much to my surprise, it's still highly
misunderstood in the West.
My name is Lynda Lichti and I've been practicing Reiki at the Master Teacher level
since August 1998. I have four children and who I AM is something I hope you will
discover as you read through my pages on your path to healing and Self-Mastery.
Let me just say, that energy healing in general is not ZAPPING people or doing
Voodoo in any way. It's not cookery or some woowoo practice, but in fact, it's been
well researched, documented and widely accepted in the Holistic community and it's
now one of the fastest-growing, complimentary healing systems in alternative
medicine today.
Since we are energetic beings living on a magnetized planet, it really makes common
sense that we would respond to different types of natural and energetic healing. In
fact, Holistic medicine has been around for a very long time and I invite you to do
more research about it to find what works best for YOU.
When people first hear about Reiki, they tend to think it's some form of massage. I will
tell you straight out, it is NOT, (at least, not on a physical level). A special
transference of energy occurs between the practitioner and the receiver and this is
done with the hands being still for a few minutes on various positions of a fully-clothed
recipient.
Reiki and Energy Healing has made a huge difference in my life and I'm grateful to be
able to share it with you as part of my life's work.
